Enmirii's Customs

Mirii's History

I’ve been interested in sewing for some time now, especially as a child watching my mother sew, and attempting to sew for myself. I truly started sewing plushies in early February of 2005. I found that the hobby is really enjoyable, but so time consuming! It can take several hours just to complete one, with a lot of patience and planning to make it just the way you want.

However, there is something heartening in making my own because you can personalize them in so many ways that otherwise would be impossible to find in stores. If I wanted to create Tear from Tales of the Abyss in a summer swim suite, there is nothing stopping me from doing so. The plushies you create are not the dolls you buy from the stores or apart of the generic plush bin. Another nice thing about them, being commissioned or on your own it is custom so you know someone else won’t have a plush anything like it.

All of my plushies are hand sewn with great care and hours dedicated into each one. I try my best to stay true to the character, and at the end strive to feel satisfied with what I’ve created. It’s really rewarding to understand that. Sewing is not for everyone, but it’s really a good stress reliever for myself since it’s calming to sew, and not really think too much about the task that you’re attempting.

Well, now that you know a little about my history, I should give you some personal information about myself. My name is Enmirii, but I also go by En and Mirii as my pen name. I am a tiring college student working to get a degree in English with a minor in writing. Other hobbies besides plushie sewing of mine are sewing, Korean ball-jointed dolls, sewing, writing, singing, and drawing. I am a proud female gamer and enjoy anime. In the future I would like to get married, have three children, and travel to other countries as Japan, Germany, Canada.
